What is The Efficient Hustle?

First official blog and there is so much to discuss! Before I dig into touring and live production I want to speak a bit about The Efficient Hustle.

Ticket sales are not the only impression left on a promoter. The professionalism of personnel has the power to leave a lasting impression with a scope that reaches beyond the band itself to reflect on management, agents and other key players.

Success in live production depends on the ability and desire to provide a professional product. The Efficient Hustle arose from a desire to help others learn and grow professionally by providing the knowledge and tools necessary to represent the client in the best possible light within the production community.

No two gigs are the same so the scope of my involvement will vary based on the project and your individual needs. I thrive on making things as efficient as possible from stage patching to the advance process. I’d love to work with you to explore options and implement practices that save time and reduce the workload for both yourself and those around you.

For those in the early stages of a production management career, I’ll provide instruction and access to the practices & tools that I've refined over many years. With this knowledge and added level of professionalism, you'll instill confidence in those that count on you the most.

For those with more experience I can act as an outside resource. Areas of concern and red flags are often difficult to see when you’re deep into a project; I have the opportunity to see things from a different perspective and offer an outside voice of reason to ensure you’re operating in the best way possible.

When heading out as a support artist on a larger tour we’ll strategize integration of your show into a much larger production. This will ensure you’re making a great first impression on the larger crowds while simultaneously keeping in the good graces of the senior production team.

Prior to a run of fly dates or international shows, let's streamline your fly pack. There is potential to save a significant amount of money here, whether checking gear on commercial flights or shipping via cartage.

Also related to international travel is the all-important carnet. A properly created carnet can save you time and headaches at the customs office. In some cases, this may even make or break your entrance into the country. Let me help you avoid any issues and ensure a great international experience.

Television performances require special attention to detail. I’ll guarantee you have a low-stress day that is enjoyable for all involved.

If you’re building out or remodeling an existing music venue I’d love to provide insight on the layout. I’ll give insight based on my twenty years of real-world experience.
